Sunpower Studios is as its name suggests, a
recording studio powered entirely by the sun. This facility combines
leading edge city quality, with easy-going country lifestyle and
ambience. Its straw-bale and log
construction, combined with split-level
flooring, provide a stress-free creative atmosphere, in an acoustically
ideal environment. Professional quality is obvious, from the equipment
to the operation.
Sunpower Recording
Studios offer 24-track audio recording with enough space
for a 40-piece orchestra live
recording - either analog or digital. The Soundcraft DC2000 console
features automated mixing (yes the faders really move before
your eyes!) and the acoustics are near to ideal. Sunpower
Recording Studio will produce your cd from planning stages
through music production to final product, and produce a set
of MIDI backing tracks at the same time! In addition, our engineers
will consult on audio system design, and construction of a solar-powered
straw bale studio.
It is tucked away on 240 acres in a secluded valley, just a
half-hour’s drive from the thriving country town of Mudgee,
NSW. (Mudgee is 3 1/2 hours west of Sydney)
Whether for demos, post-production, editing, or full album
projects, Sunpower Studios has the equipment and experience to
make your project a successful and enjoyable one.
On-site and neighbourhood accommodation are available for artists
to stay during the project, as the serenity of the surrounds lends
itself to the creative process. This setting is so quiet, you could
record outdoors.
